Overview
This two-in-one reader integrates both barcode and magstripe
technologies in a single unit. One side of the slot is dedicated for barcode card
swiping, while the opposite side is for magstripe card only.
BMR Series supports either
keyboard wedge or serial RS-232 interface. Keyboard wedge models are fully
compatible with AT/PS2. RS-232 models are powered through an external AC
adapter, or on some systems, the same serial port to which the reader is attached.
Configuration is done by swiping barcode cards. |
